General
Our Daily rentals are based on 24 hours from time of pick up. There is a 15-minute grace period but following that, late fees will
apply. A late fee of 25% of the Daily Rental charge will be applied every hour for the first 2 hours. After 2 hours past the expected
return time, a full day rate will be charged and continue every 24 hours, or portion thereof, until return of the trailer.
No. KWIC Rentals does NOT provide any add on insurance coverage at this time. While the trailer is in your possession, you are
100% responsible for any loss or damage occurred. We suggest you check with your insurance provider to ensure you are covered
for rental trailers.
It’s simple, all you need is your valid driver's license, up-to-date auto insurance and a credit card. Once you sign the Rental Agreement, away you go! Unfortunately, we cannot accept cash deposits.
All of our trailers come with spare tires that you can use to get to the closest tire repair facility. If the flat tire is not repaired prior to return of the trailer, you will be responsible for the repair / replacement of the tire.
Once a rental agreement has been signed and executed, the following cancellation policy applies:
Cancellations made 48 hours or more prior to the scheduled rental time will forfeit 15% of deposit.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled rental time will result in forfeiture of the entire rental amount.
There is no penalty for rescheduling up to 48 hours in advance.
Once reserved, and within 48 hours of the scheduled pick-up time, there will be no refunds for schedule changes that may result in a shorter rental period or unused rental days.
Your best & cheapest course of action is to either repair it yourself if your skilled and able or get it repaired. If the trailer is returned damaged, you will be charged the cost of the repair plus 25% as well as an hourly charge of $75/hour for transport to and from any repair facilities. Keep in mind that the rental is not terminated, and daily charges will continue, until the trailer is returned in the same
condition it left in.
You will be sent a copy of the photo radar ticket to show the infraction. Tickets will be billed back to you and subject to a 20% fee.
Your tow vehicle must have a GVWR equal to or greater than the weight of the trailer plus cargo. Your vehicle must also have a working trailer light plugin, in most cases 7 pin. The majority of our trailers have a 2-5/16” hitch, with the exception of our light utility trailers which are 2”. If you don’t have a ball, we can supply one for a cost of $15 / rental.
No. we can offer some guidance if needed but as the driver, you are ultimately responsible to ensure the trailer is hooked up correctly.
Yes, all trailers must be returned clean. Dump trailers & cargo trailers must also be free of any garbage or debris inside.
No, all our trailers must be returned to our yard where they were picked up.
